Connect on XTom Gibbings is a managing partner of 20/20 Financial Advisers of San Diego, LLC, where the guiding principle is “Your Future is Our Focus.” Tom applies this principle every time he helps business owners, individuals, and retirees with financial planning.
Tom provides investment and insurance related products and services to clientele through his relationship with Private Client Services and fee-based financial advisory and planning services to clientele through his relationship with Prime Capital Investment Advisors.
With over 40 years of financial planning experience, Tom manages a variety of financial products – stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other equity and risk management products. This allows his clients to provide for their families, protect their estates, and look forward to a healthy retirement.
He has been a speaker at the California Leaders’ Convention and is a recognized seminar leader for financial planning topics. Tom also took to the airwaves a few years ago as the host of The Financial Digest and Ask the Expert on KSDO Radio in San Diego, California. Several years ago, he hosted the Money Minute on KOGO Radio in San Diego, where he coined the “$53,000 cup of coffee” – the price of a $3.00 daily latte invested over 20 years.
Tom is a graduate of San Diego State University. A native San Diegan, Tom and his wife, Elvira, raised their son, Tom Jr., and daughter, Darcy, in the San Diego community of Point Loma.
Tom is a tireless volunteer for local community service projects. He is a past president and current board member of the Point Loma Optimist Club.
