Tom Carreras started out in the insurance business in January of 1968 with Life of Georgia in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was promoted to staff manager and eventually district manager of the Miami, Florida district.
In 1980, Tom helped start a life department in a property & casualty company in Pompano Beach, Florida. In 1986, he opened up Broward, Dade County and the West Coast of Florida for Time Insurance Company.
In 2001, he started Carreras Financial Services, a marketing company of life and annuity products to independent agents in South Florida, which he still operates today.
Tom holds Series 6, 7, 24 and 65 securities registrations as well as his life and health insurance license. He holds both Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations.
Tom’s main focus today is to support the independent agents that work with him as well as helping his personal clients with their investment needs.
